HTC or royalties paid $ 8 for each phone to Apple

HTC announced over the weekend to settle patent litigation and reached a 10-year patent licensing agreement with Apple, although the terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but industry sources said the 6-8 U.S. dollars HTC Android phone will pay royalties to Apple.
Sterne Agee analyst Shaw Wu said, in contact with people in the industry, he informed Apple in 2013 from the license fee of $ 6-8 per HTC Smartphone. Calculated in accordance with the HTC shipments 3000-3500 million units, Apple can get about 1.8-2.8 billion dollars in licensing fees.

Shaw Wu also believes that the settlement agreement with HTC will lay the foundation for Apple and Samsung and Motorola reconciliation patent litigation, Apple may reach a similar agreement with the two companies.
